International Women's Day 2024

The International Women's Day (IWD) Speaker Directory is a platform where speakers can be listed to gain visibility and bookings for IWD events.

It's a valuable resource for both speakers and for organizations looking for speakers for their IWD events. You can submit your profile to the directory which is used by various organizations to find and book speakers for events around International Women's Day.

Option 1 - Done With You

  1. We use our expertise as a leading speaker bureau and IWD account to submit an optimized, engaging and compelling entry for you in the Speaker Directory.
  2. We submit the entry on your behalf.

Option 2 - Do It Yourself

  1. Create an account on the IWD website and log in to submit your IWD Speaker listing.
  2. Complete the submission form including a keyword-optimized, specific and engaging elevator pitch of approximately 20 words. To help, you can research examples of other speakers in the IWD Speaker Directory first.
  3. Also include an optimized longer description in third person. The IWD website says this “should be succinct, informative and outline what will be covered for the audience..” and your listing “should contain sufficient information that Event Managers are compelled to make contact or secure a booking.”

Social Media cards

IWD asks people to strike the #InspireInclusion pose to show solidarity and inspire others to help forge an inclusive world by sharing your #InspireInclusion image across social media using #IWD2024 #InspireInclusion.

You can also use your image on social media cards that are available to download from the IWD website. You can co-brand these cards with your own branding, add text and insert an image before sharing them on social media using the hashtags #InspireInclusion and #IWD2024.

Editable PowerPoint versions are also available for those without Photoshop, making it easy to personalise the cards. Additionally, there's an option to submit a web link of the social media post featuring the #InspireInclusion card for potential sharing by the IWD platform.

Option 1 - Done With You

  1. We use our online platform to create a professional image of you striking the #InspireInclusion pose. If you are also working with us to produce your IWD 2024 #inspireinclusion video, we can do this at the same time.
  2. We handle any image editing required.
  3. We submit the image on your behalf along with your #InspireInclusion message and key information about you.
  4. We also create your IWD social media cards personalised with your message and key information.
  5. We also share your social media cards on our channels and support your own posts by amplifying and sharing.

Option 2 - Do It Yourself

  1. Have a friend, family member or colleague take a photo of you striking the #InspireInclusion pose.
  2. Create an account on the IWD website and log in to submit the image and write your IWD #InspireInclusion message to the world in 40 words or less.
  3. Download the IWD social media cards and personalise with your photo, message and key information.
  4. Share your cards on social media.

The International Women's Day website encourages the creation and sharing of videos that support the mission of building a gender-equal world. Option 1 - Done With You

  1. We produce your IWD 2024 #inspireinclusion video with you. We handle all the technical aspects including recording, editing and production, plus we will help you focus and clarify your message.
  2. We upload your video to YouTube and submit to the IWD website on your behalf along with a fully optimised video description.
  3. We also share your video on LinkedIn and social media and directly with our clients and contacts via email.
  4. We will also add your video message to our campaign video which will be supported by all the speakers involved as a showcase for the campaign.

Option 2 - Do It Yourself

  1. Record, edit and produce your IWD 2024 #inspireinclusion video.
  2. Upload your video to YouTube.
  3. Create an account on the IWD website and log in to submit your video link and written description.

Which option to choose?

Pledge Cards

The International Women's Day website offers #InspireInclusion Pledge Cards for download designed for use at events, in activities or on social media to demonstrate solidarity and motivate others towards fostering a more inclusive world for women.

Option 1 - Done With You

  1. We send you the pledge card images.
  2. Choose the image you want to use.
  3. Have a friend, family member or colleague take a photo of you holding a blank card and send it to us.
  4. Outline your IWD #InspireInclusion message. We will write it for you and email it for your approval. Once approved, we upload your image and message to IWD on your behalf.

Option 2 - Do It Yourself

  1. Choose a pledge card and download. There are options to download in PDF format for printing or PowerPoint format if you want to edit with your own branding.
  2. Print the card.
  3. Take a photo of yourself holding the card.
  4. Create an account on the IWD website and log in to submit the image and write your IWD #InspireInclusion message to the world in 40 words or less.

Which option to choose?

Both options have their merits. Which is best for you depends on your resources and preferences.

Option 2 empowers you to actively participate in the International Women's Day #InspireInclusion campaign by personally engaging with the process. However, it requires more effort on your part which might be challenging if you are particularly busy.

Option 1 simplifies the process for you, making it more convenient for you to participate. By handling the technical and submission aspects, we alleviate the burden on you and closely align your messages with our campaign and promotional strategy for you.
